ANNA (Anna's Erotic Art)

Anna was born in San Francisco in 1963. It is probably a good thing her mother didn’t name her “Rainbow”, given the fact that Anna’s mother worked in Haight Ashberry and took little baby Anna to work with her each day. To this day, Anna believes that spirit of San Francisco has a great deal to where life would take her.

Anna has spent her life loving art. Her family has a rich history of artistic talents. She fondly remembers the joy she felt each time she got a new box of crayons or a new pad of drawing paper, where all things imagined could come to life. Although Anna was artistic all her life, it wasn’t until a couple of years ago that she began to produce art on a serious level.

It was after she began a 24/7 bdsm relationship, that she got the courage and push she needed to return to her love of art. Her Master gave her that push to take art classes at the local community college. After a year and a half of classes, it was announced that their local bdsm support group would be hosting an erotic art show.

Anna had commented many times that she would like to do some erotic art work, so when this great opportunity dropped in her lap, and one more push from her Master, Anna jumped in with both feet. That desire to produce erotic art with a bdsm feel was born from seeing a lack of the kind of images that struck to the core of it for Anna. Most of the work out there seemed to be about the moment of torment, instead of the moment of joy. Scared to death but excited too, she presented her work for the first time.

Her work got rave reviews. With that first leap behind her, Anna began to expand and present her artwork to a larger audience.

It is a little over a year now, and Anna has a web site up with her artwork, and lifestyle information at: www.annasart.com. Now Anna and her Master are also publishing an online magazine for people in the bdsm lifestyle, called BDSM Home. It can be found at: www.annasart.com/bdsmhome. If that wasn’t enough, they have also started a web design business at: www.annasart.com/webdesign.

Anna and her Master are planning many trips this year to take her artwork to other BDSM events and erotic art shows.

Reb's Notes on ANNA

I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting Anna, but I liked her immensely just from our email correspondence. She is always LOL’ing all over the place!  One of our other Gallery artists suggested I contact Anna. I looked at her web site and was very impressed with her artistic talents, especially her “shadowing” work, which requires extreme talent.

I do know that Anna is more than willing to do commissioned artwork for you, so if you would like custom work you can email her at: anna@annasart.com

Anna’s art was just shown in a major show, and her artwork was a rave! Her art even ended up on the local news that night. Congratulations Blondie, and thanks for sharing your marvelous creations!!
