Reb’s Notes on “Austin”

This artist is the most incredible “pencil” artist I’ve ever seen. The detail (especially in his later works) is beyond belief. I have many of his originals framed throughout my home, and oftentimes, at first glance while walking by, it looks like a photograph.

Austin has also completed some color works, which are just as unbelievable. He also wrote many letters back and forth with Eric Stanton (as well as numerous telephone conversations), and Eric was extremely cooperative, and provided Austin with many tips on ways to improve his art.
