Hi All,
The
name’s Biker. I live here in the UK and was born in London in the early 60’s,
growing up and enjoying a normal life up through the 70’s. That was until one
day I caught a glimpse of my Geography Teacher’s thigh as she hurried down a
flight of stairs and her skirt flapped open. At the time I had a MAJOR crush on
her and just couldn't shake the picture out of my 14-year-old head.I’d always been an active kid playing football, war games, etc., but I also spent a lot of time drawing. So a few days later I attempted to draw my teachers’ little embarrassing incident. That was what started the ball rolling with me and my fixation for drawing sexy women. Over the coming years I would draw my pictures, then in a fit of guilt destroy them thinking I was a pervert and it was wrong for me to do such artwork.
I still drew but always stuff more mainstream and always “Safe” in the eyes of people around me. But on the sly I'd indulge in the occasional pervy drawing.
Time went on and now I was deep in my 30’s. I discovered the Internet and it opened a whole New World to me and I discovered more like-minded people who had this same affliction. Gil Elvgren, Art Frahms to name just two of the old masters of this style of artwork.
Following in these giants footsteps were such men as Alazar whose artwork I'd discovered by accident in a comic shop. Now I felt less inclined to feel guilty and after a visit to a forum which was based around Women being Stripped Naked I once more turned my attention to drawing my sexy ladies again.
I drew a couple of pictures and posted them to a few people and received a lot of positive feedback over them. Now after 3 years I have my own website up and running thanks to another artist pal of mine named Oogler. Now I have people emailing me asking me to do commission drawings for them. Shit! I’m
even getting fan mail, would you believe! - which blows me away no end. me, just plain old A**** and I’m getting fan mail!!! As the colonials are won't to say "Go figure".
So here I am about to go into my 40’s and life is good right now despite some rather dramatic upheavals I’m going through. I’m doing what I enjoy doing. I’m happy finding myself not alone in this field of erotica and I feel proud of my artwork.
Recently I wrote to Reb asking if he’d be interesting in having some of my work at his galleries and got an enthusiastic reply from him. He’d seen my work before and enjoyed it though he thought the high heels on my ladies were just a tad too low for his tastes…hehehehehe! Well, you can’t please ‘em
all can you? Suffice to say I now have a space at Reb's and feel proud to be placed alongside the other fine artists he has here - not least of which is Alazar, whom I have admired the work of and owe an apology if he ever and I were to meet.
