JIM

The artist “Jim” was a bit before my time, so I know very little about him, and have been able to find out even less.

He was apparently from Switzerland. I know many of his art works were published by Irving Klaw in the late 1950’s.

I first discovered his work about 30 years ago. I’ve saved every piece I was able to locate. His bondage is exquisite. The voluptuous Mistresses and victims have marvelous figures. His pencil-thin high-heels are sporting a full 7” arch.

Most of his work that is in his Gallery I scanned from Xerox copies. Art collecting friends of mine had “Jim” art in their collections, and over the years they graciously allowed me to at least Xerox them so I would have the art. I was afraid they would turn out crummy, as the toner from the copies fused to the plastic protective pages. I scanned through the plastic, and I have been thrilled with the scanning results.

If anyone out there has any history on Jim (and somebody must have some historical facts), please share this information so I can put it in the Jim Gallery.
